ONEIDA . . .

Jeffrey Scott Drummond, 50, of 303 N. Main Street, Oneida, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at his home, following a brief illness.

He was born on January 7, 1975, in Oneida, the son of the late Eugene F. and Catherine (Baldwin) Drummond.

Jeff spent his early years in Munnsville, attending the Stockbridge Valley School. He later lived in Vernon for many years, attending the VVS School. Jeff has lived in Oneida for the last eight years.

He worked at Vernon Downs for many years.

Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, singing, coloring, and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are: one son, Austin David Allen Drummond of Oneida; one daughter, Paisley Renee Drummond-Wright of Morrisville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Laura Drummond of Canastota, and Eugene and Tammy Drummond of Canastota; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Tammy and Andy Barrows of Hilton Head, SC, Linda Buchanan of Canastota, and Lisa and Shadi Marji of Oneida; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday at the funeral home following the calling hours. The Rev. William M. Wilcox will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Canastota.
