It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael J. Carpenter, 45, on April 9, 2025.

Mike was passionate about gardening, fishing, the outdoors and flying stunt kites. He designed and made jewelry and was an avid pet lover. He worked on the family farm for many years and enjoyed dedicating time to his hobby car.

He is survived by his mother, Martha J. (Weisbrod) Carpenter; father, James G. Carpenter; brother, Mark A. Carpenter; his grandmother, Eva Weisbrod; as well as five Aunts, Uncles and nine Cousins.

Local services will be held privately.

On May 31, at noon a Celebration of Michael’s life will be provided by his father, James Carpenter, for family and friends, at 5985 Olmstead Road, Chittenango.
