CANASTOTA . . .

Sharon L. Fuller, 72, of 307 Delano Avenue, Canastota, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, following a lengthy illness.

She was born on October 1, 1952, in Madison, NY, the daughter of the late Herman and Edna (Huth) Deal.

Sharon spent her early years in Madison, graduating from Madison High School in 1970. She later graduated from SUNY Morrisville in 1972, where she met her future husband, Gerald.

She worked for Wegman's in Syracuse for many years, and retired from Suburban Propane in North Syracuse.

Sharon was a member of St. Agatha's Church in Canastota.

She was an excellent cook and baker. Sharon enjoyed crafting, including making and painting ceramics, and sewing. She loved animals, especially her son's bulldog, Olive, and spending time with her family.

Sharon married Gerald L. Fuller on May 19, 1973, in Oriskany Falls, NY.

Surviving besides her husband, Gerald, are: one son, Gregory Fuller of Canastota; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristyn and Rusty Chambers of Louisville, OH; one granddaughter and her husband, Alexandria and AJ Shannon of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, immediately following the calling hours. The Rev. Anthony F. Tosti will officiate.
