Obituary of Barbara Jean (Cerio) Hazen

CANASTOTA . . . Barbara J. (Cerio) Hazen, 61, of Bruce Road, Canastota, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Thompson) Cerio. Barb is survived by four sisters, Nancy Domenico, Donna and Michael Amaral, Debra and Larry DiGeorge, and Susan and David Kling; sister-in-law, Betty Gail Cerio; nieces and nephews, Thomas and Kelly Domenico, Ian Berry, Erica and Garrett Stetson, Eric Cerio, Adrienne Cerio, Ashley and Greg Hosmer, and Joseph and Alyse DiGeorge; as well as several great nieces and nephews. Barb was predeceased by a brother, Thomas J. Cerio. Barb will be laid to rest with her parents at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at St. Agatha’s Cemetery, Oxbow Road, Canastota. The Rev. Anthony F. Tosti will officiate.
