Phyllis G. Rice, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Extended Care Facility in Oneida where she has been a resident for several years.
She lived most of her life in Canastota and was employed by the Diemolding Corporation.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Kim Rice, Bernard and Jackie Bayne all of Sherrill, NY, Bryan and Tammy Bayne, and David Rice all of Canastota, NY; two daughters and a son-in-law, Betsy and Jim Cesarini, and Tammy Rice all of Canastota; and a sister, Fran Dailey of Morrisville, NY. She is also survived by several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Phyllis’s wishes there will be no public services.
