Born on April 4, 1967, to Edward A. and Thelma J. (Wenham) Dodge at Oneida Hospital, she was the final child baptized at the Methodist Church (now Greystone Castle) in Canastota.

She attended Canastota schools and graduated in 1985. She attended SUNY Geneseo and graduated in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minor in Computer Science.

After spending her younger years as a bookkeeper at Syracuse Banana Company and Madison County Community Action Program, she recently was employed as a home health aide and owned “Linda’s House of Treasures.”

She was a loyal member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls throughout her adolescence. She served as a Worthy Advisor and was honored with several Grand Offices in her Rainbow career. She was honored with the Grand Cross of Color. She joined the Order of the Eastern Star and was an active member of the Oneida chapter. For several years, Linda participated in the Operation Christmas Child ministry where she gifted hundreds of shoeboxes to children throughout the world to spread the gospel and joy of Christmas.

Linda met her future husband, William Roseman, on a blind date at a Syracuse Chiefs game and she enjoyed attending games at the stadium with her extended family throughout her life. They were married on July 23, 1994, at the United Church in Canastota.

They had three wonderful children, Marleah May, and twin boys Alexander Joseph and Benjamin Michael together. Bill passed away on December 26, 2012. Her dear friend, Nancy (Farnach) Dodge, is the Godmother of all three children and the mother of Linda’s niece, Stephanie Lynn and nephew, Anthony John Paul.
