CANASTOTA . . .



Robin L. Wilcox, 69, of 2902 Pine Ridge Road, Canastota, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Wynn Hospital, Utica, following a brief illness.



She was born on August 11, 1956, in Canastota, the son of the late William, Sr. and Bernice (Como) Redmond.



Robin lived in Canastota all of her life, attending the Canastota schools.



She worked for Oneida Molded Plastics for 10 years, retiring in 2018, and had previously worked at Oneida City Hospital for 20 years.



Robin loved gardening, weekly shopping trips to Walmart, her cats, and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.



Surviving are: her longtime companion, Jeffrey Goldberg; three children, Kelly Wilcox of Oneida, Crystal Wilcox of Canastota, and Tiffany Mills of Canastota; one brother, Timothy Redmond of OH; six sisters, Jeanine Lapnuke of PA, Cheryl Allen of DC, Arlene Digaspari of Phoenix, Diane Freeman of FL, Denise Fields of SC, and Kristine Kammerer of Oneida; four grandchildren, Blake Wilcox, Victoria Wilcox, Leaira Mills, and McKenzie Mills; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Robin was predeceased by one son, Steven Wilcox; and two brothers, Ronald Redmond, and William Redmond, Jr.



Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the funeral home. Pastor Charles Motley, of the Conquest Christian Center, Durhamville, will officiate.
