Brandy M. LaFlesh, 46, of Lee Center, and formerly of Oneida and Canastota, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, following an automobile accident in the Town of Verona.
She was born on September 4, 1979, in Syracuse, the daughter of Bernie and Shelley (Reynolds) Haldenwang.
Brandy lived in Oneida and Canastota most of her life, attending the Oneida schools, and has lived in Lee Center for the past year.
She worked as a private care giver in the area for several years.
Brandy enjoyed helping others, crafting, doing tie-dyeing, karaoke, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her seven children, Nicholas Smith of Munnsville, Jayden Domena of Canastota, Zaren Domena of Oneida, Jacob LaFlesh of Oneida, Jason Hodge of Tully, Raven LaFlesh of Oneida, and Maisey LaFlesh of Oneida; three grandchildren, Grayson West, Ella Domena, and Everlee Hewitt; her parents, Bernie and Shelley Haldenwang of Oneida; three sisters, Tiffeny and Walter Boyles of Mohawk, Jessica LaFlesh and Rush Roache of Camden, and Amanda and Kael Harmon of Martinsburg, WV; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home following the calling hours. The Rev. Michael Kessler, of Christ the King Reformed Baptist Church, New York Mills, will officiate. A reception will be held after the funeral, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the American Legion Post #169, 398 N. Main Street, Oneida.
