CANASTOTA . . .

Bonnie Lee Pratt, 64, of Canastota, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Betsy Ross Nursing Home, Rome.

She was born on June 16, 1961, in Rome, the daughter of the late Harold E. Sr. and Mary (Perrigo) Pratt.

Bonnie has lived in Canastota all of her life, attending the Canastota schools.

She attended various churches in the area, where she enjoyed bible school and singing in the choir.

Bonnie enjoyed arts and crafts, making potholders, board games, and card games. She loved coloring, music, and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Bonnie always helped and looked after her sister, Caroline.

Surviving are: four brothers, Francis and Diane Pratt of Canastota, William Pratt of Sherrill, John and Kathy Pratt of Canastota, and James Pratt of Utica; four sisters, Mary Ann and Amar Sharma of Bowie, MD, Caroline Pratt of Canastota, Frances Pratt and her companion, Gerald Popple of Oneida, and Christine Pratt of Canastota; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bonnie was predeceased by one brother, Harold E. Pratt, Jr.; and two sisters, Kathy Close, and Barbara Hartle.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. The Rev. Thomas G. Burgess of Hope Christian Fellowship, Canastota, will officiate. Burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota. There will be no calling hours.
