Elinor R. Kellogg, 76, formerly of Canastota, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at The Grand in Rome, following a lengthy illness.



She was born on January 27, 1949, in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late Godfrey and Miriam (Burstien) Titelbaum.



Elinor spent her early years in Dorchester and then Sharon, MA, graduating from Sharon High School in 1966, and also graduated from Champlain College in Vermont, in 1968. She later lived in Massachusetts for many years, eventually moving to New York State, living in Skaneateles, Auburn and Canastota, before becoming a resident of The Grand in 2016.



She worked for Welch Allen in Skaneateles for many years, and later in her career she worked for Verizon in Syracuse until she retired.



Elinor enjoyed computers, animals, reading, myths and legends, photography, traveling, movies, Tarot cards and Runesticks (Wicca), Mystisim, and spending time with her son.



Surviving are: her son, Richard G. Kellogg of Chittenango; her ex-husband, Fredrick A. "Sandy" Kellogg of New Hartford; two sisters, Gail L. Titelbaum of Canastota, and Sheila and James Mandeville of Bridgewater, MA; a first cousin, Ellen M. Curran of Walpole, MA; as well as one niece, two nephews, and other cousins.



Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota. Arrangements are under the supervision of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota.
