Ricky Alan Torres, 58, passed away, Saturday, January 3, 2026, at his home.

Born in Oneida, NY, April 19, 1967, Ricky was a son of the late Felix, Sr. and Florence (Miller) Torres.

Ricky was raised and educated in local schools and attended Chittenango High School. On September 11, 2004, he married the former Rosa Leta Lambertson. The couple shared in a union blessed with over twenty-one years of marriage and were together for more than thirty-eight years.

At one time Mr. Torres held a position with McIntosh Box and Pallet in East Syracuse and Oneida Limited in Sherrill; he was also the owner and operator of Above and Beyond DJ Service. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, and fishing with his brother Raymond. Ricky was an avid Kiss fan. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Leta; two daughters, Jessica Carlucci-Dollinger, and her husband, Dan Dollinger both of Chittenango, and Abriel Dollinger of Oneida; two step-sons, Shawn M. Lambertson of Lee Center, and Seth Lambertson and his wife, Natalie both of Sherrill; Grandchildren, Lexie Pederson, Haylie Pederson, Spencer Lambertson, and Simon Lambertson, Dustin Darling and Peyton Darling; and two great-grandchildren, Jayden Dollinger, and Aliyannah Dollinger; a brother, Nicholas Torres, Sr. of Kirkville; and a sister, Brenda Hartman of Chittenango. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and in-laws. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Torres; three brothers, Raymond Torres, Daniel Torres, and Felix Torres, Jr.; and a daughter-in-law, Tarra Lambertson.

Calling hours will be held on, Monday, January 12, 2026, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Mr. Torres’s funeral will take place on Monday evening following calling hours at the funeral home at 6:00.
