CANASTOTA . . .
Mary L. Lucarelli, 96, formerly of 215 Wilson Avenue, Canastota, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026.
She was born on May 11, 1929, in Canastota, the daughter of Ernest and Anna (Cesarini) Lucarelli.
Mary lived in Canastota most of her life, and was a 1948 graduate of Canastota High School.
She worked as a sales representative for Oneida Limited Silversmiths in Sherrill for 38 years, retiring in 1987.
Mary was a member of St. Agatha's Church in Canastota.
She was an avid reader, who enjoyed walking, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are: three sisters, Lucy Lamkin of Canastota, Jean DeRegis of Syracuse, and Ann Twomey of East Syracuse; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary was predeceased by three brothers, Aldo Lucarelli, James Lucarelli, and Charles Lucarelli; and two sisters, Kathleen Lucarelli, and Theresa Lucarelli.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Spring at St. Agatha's Cemetery, Canastota. At Mary's request, there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the supervision of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota.
