UTICA . . .

Joseph B. Greany, 62, of Utica, NY, unexpectedly passed away at home on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

He was born on April 19, 1963, in Oneida, NY, the son of the late John E. and Mary P. (Butler) Greany.

Joe earned his paralegal degree, owned and operated a handyman business, and a real estate rental business. He was working on a super booster drink, and was a caregiver for his brother, Peter.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Carla Greany (fiancé Gerald Curtis); his grandson, Gerald Curtis II; his granddaughters, Allyssa Coonrod (Troy Sutherland), and Ceairra Coonrod; three sisters, Childonna Greany (Tane Garcia), Antoinett Phillips (Wayne Hall), and Nicole Capocetta; three brothers, Daryl Wesseldine, Peter Greany, and Damon Parmeter; as well as many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by one brother, Deon Parmeter.
