FENNER . . .

Carol A. Roberts, 66, of 5377 Rouses Road, Cazenovia, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Wynn Hospital, Utica, following a lengthy illness.

She was born on October 15, 1959, in Oneida, the daughter of the late Charles "Toddy" and Violet (Bach) Roberts.

Carol lived in the Fenner area all of her life, graduating from Canastota High School in 1977, and later graduated from SUNY Morrisville.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Center State Ag in Morrisville for many years, and also did bookkeeping for the Town of Fenner as well as her family farm, Charles Roberts & Sons, on Milestrip Road in the Town of Fenner.

Carol loved to read, and enjoyed her dogs and spending time with her family.

Surviving are: three brothers, Jerry A. Roberts, Kenneth A. Roberts and Cora Zone Bouge, and James A. Roberts, all of Fenner; as well as several cousins. Carol was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence A. "Larry" Roberts who died on June 23, 2003.

Carol’s family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all of her caregivers.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home following the calling hours. The Rev. William M. Wilcox will officiate. Spring burial will be in Clockville Cemetery.
