Kenneth G. Miller, Sr., 85, of 7125 Beebe Bridge Road, Canastota, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Oneida Healthcare Center Extended Care Facility, following a lengthy illness.



He was born on March 11, 1941, in Canastota, the son of the late Louis and Mary (Mason) Miller.



Ken lived in Canastota most of his life, attending the Canastota schools.



He worked for various farms in the area for many years.



Ken enjoyed farm animals, riding his bike, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids.



He married Suzanne I. Miller on May 9, 1964, in Stockbridge. Suzanne passed away on January 20, 2026.



Surviving are: four sons, Kenneth Jr. and Mary Miller of Canastota, Robert Sr. and Dorthea Miller of Canastota, Charles and Tabitha Miller of Madison, and John and Tiffany Miller of Waterville; four daughters, Melissa and Warren Chaffee of Hamilton, Loretta and Mark Polisse of Canastota, Kitty Kilbourn of Reidsville, NC, and Jennie and Jerry Millington of Vernon Center; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ken was predeceased by two grandsons, John Francis Miller, and James "Bug" Clapper, Jr.; one great granddaughter, Marley Mai Foster; three brothers, Robert Miller, Floyd Miller, and Ross Miller, Sr.; and six sisters, Josephine Stevens, Ethel Seabrook, Elizabeth Sampson, Barbara Dagget, Shirley Darling, and Florence Torres.



Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, following the calling hours. Pastor Jonathan Burns of Heritage Baptist Church, Wampsville, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Canastota.
