Obituary of Robert C. Copeland

SYLVAN BEACH . . . . Robert C. Copeland, 62, of Sylvan Beach, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Oneida Health. He was born on February 24, 1959, in Bethesda, MD, the son of the late Robert H. and Kolene (Blowers) Copeland. Bob has lived in Sylvan Beach most of his life. He enjoyed collecting and listening to music, old comic books, antique cars, and spending time with his family. Surviving are: one brother, Mark A. Copeland of Vernon; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cynthia and Terry Yeoman of Rome, Janelle Canfield of Syracuse, and Sharon and Douglas Joslyn of Canastota; a special aunt, Betty Copeland of Greenville, SC; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including Guy "Donnie" Copeland. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota. At Bob's request there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements are under the supervision of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota.
