Obituary of Michael A. Link

ONEIDA . . . Michael A. Link, II, 24, of 303 West Elm Street, Oneida, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 1, 2018, at his home, following a brief illness. He was born on June 1, 1994, in Oneida, the son of Michael A. Sr., and Ellen (Currie) Link. Mike lived in Oneida most of his life, graduating from Oneida High School in 2012. He had worked at Gary's Auto Parts in Oneida. Mike was a member of Believers' Chapel, Canastota. He enjoyed bike riding, fishing, and being with his friends and family. Surviving are: his mother, Ellen Link of Oneida; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Link of Canastota; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mike was predeceased his father, Michael A. Link, Sr.; and his grandfather, Charles Link. Memorial services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Believers' Chapel, Route 5, midway between Canastota and Chittenango. Pastor Larry Richmond and Brian Link will co-officiate. Burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, prior to the service, from 10 a.m. to Noon at the church. Arrangements are under the supervision of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. In his memory, contributions may be made to Believers' Chapel, Box 323, Canastota, NY 13032, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
