Obituary of Heather Marino

Heather A. Marino, 36, of Canastota, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Oneida Health Care. She was born on January 16, 1985 in Oneida a Daughter of Ronald and Cheryl (Brantis) Tallman; she was the first born grandchild on her mother’s side. Heather attended MECS where she graduated from in 2003. She also was a Girl Scout leader in Rome for the past three years. Heather loved all her family and friends, especially her nephews and nieces who she would always be willing to help if she could. Heather leaves behind her husband, Glen Marino; two stepchildren, Autumn and Elijah all of Rome; her adopted father, Lawrence Wickham of Canastota; her biological dad, Ronald (Sue) Tallman, Sr of Bouckville; her mother, Cheryl Brantis (James Arena) of TX; a sister, Melissa Douglas-Wickham; a half-sister, Lynda Fura of Oneida; a stepsister, Latasha Jackson of Canastota; two stepbrothers, Ronald (Jessica) Tallman, Jr. of Sylvan Beach, and Randy Tallman of Canastota; two foster sisters, Noel Ciani of New Hartford, and Emily (Steven) Cossitt of Georgetown. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral services for Heather will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 11:00am at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc. 201 James Street, Canastota. The Rev. William Wilcox will officiate.
