ROCHESTER . . .



Bonnie L. Menzer, age 74, of Rochester, died from long-term illness on Saturday, October 2, 2021.



She was born March 30, 1947, in Oneida, to Gladys I. Menzer (Johnson) and Rev. William H. Menzer of Canastota.



Bonnie attended Canastota Central Schools and later worked there until her retirement.



She enjoyed doing word searches, making crafts with her nieces, taking her dog for rides, and visiting her granddaughters.



Surviving are: two sisters, Janet Hilts and Dollee Gamble; one brother, Lynn Menzer; one daughter, Gina Menzer-Kunz; two granddaughters, Nadia and Talia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, who will miss her jokes and birthday calls. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents; one sister, Betty Hinkle; and three brothers, Joseph, Gerald, Arthur and Bud Menzer.



Calling hours will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. There will be no memorial service.
