Obituary of Michael A. Frazer

ONEIDA . . . Michael A. Frazer, 33, of 337 Seneca Street, Oneida, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Oneida Healthcare, following a brief illness. He was born on October 2, 1988, in Oneida, the son of Heidi A. Wickham and Kenneth E. Frazer, Jr. Michael spent his early years in Canastota and Morrisville, attending the Morrisville-Eaton Schools. He has lived in Oneida for the past 8 years. He worked as a mechanic and carpenter in the area. Michael was a member of the Canastota Baptist Chapel. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, helping others, and spending time with his family. Surviving are: his mother, Heidi A. Wickham of Oneida; his father, Kenneth E. Frazer, Jr. of Syracuse; three brothers, Kenneth Frazer III and Dakota Townsend, Joshua Frazer, and Elvis Frazer and Lexie VanDusen; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Russell and Dorathy Wickham. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, follow the calling hours. The Rev. Phillip A. Wright, of the Canastota Baptist Chapel, will officiate. In his memory, contributions may be made to the Canastota Baptist Chapel, c/o Rev. Phillip A.
