Obituary of Gerry W. Camp

CANASTOTA . . . Gerry W. Camp, 57, of 7224 Nelson Road, Canastota, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Oneida Healthcare, following a brief illness. He was born on January 8, 1965, in Canastota, the son of the late Gerald and Claire (Seabrook) Camp. Gerry has lived in Canastota all of his life, graduating from Canastota High School in 1983. He worked at factories in the area, and was recently an associate at Top's Market in Canastota. Gerry enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, wood working, and working with his hands. Surviving are: one son, Derek Camp of Camden; one granddaughter, Aubree Camp; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marsha and Steven Brady of Chittenango, Deborah Curtis of Oregon, and Anita and Kenneth Clay of Texas. Gerry was predeceased by one brother, Bruce Camp; and one sister, Lorri Bauer. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery, Chittenango, will be held in the spring at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the supervision of the J.
