SYLVAN BEACH . . . Gerald E. Graham, 71, of Sylvan Beach Estates, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his home. He was born on September 27, 1951, in Canastota, the son of the late Vernon and Arlene (Hyatt) Graham. Gerald lived in Canastota most of his life, attending the Canastota schools. He has lived in Sylvan Beach for the last 14 years. He worked for Owl Wire & Cable Company in Canastota for many years, retiring in 1994. Gerald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Surviving are: two brothers, Eugene "Geno" Graham of North Chittenango, and Lawrence "Larry" Graham and Marie Dangelo of North Chittenango; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Christine Zophy of Canastota, Deborah "Dunk" West of Wampsville, and Deanna "Diane" and Francis Pratt, Sr., of Canastota; as well as aunts and uncles; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gerald was predeceased by three brothers, Robert "Bob" Graham, Steven J. Graham, and Lewis "Louie" Graham, Sr.; a brother-in-law, James Zophy, Sr.; a nephew, Francis "J.R." Pratt, Jr.; and Larry's longtime companion, Lori Pouliot. Graveside services will be held at Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota, in the Spring at a date and time to be announced. At Gerald's request there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the supervision of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota.

Graveside services will be held at Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota, in the Spring at a date and time to be announced. At Gerald's request there will be no calling hours.
