Obituary of Andrew Joseph Finocchiaro

CHITTENANGO . . . Andrew J. Finocchiaro, 43, of 601 Valley Drive West, Chittenango, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at his home. He was born on August 31, 1979, in Oneida, the son of Natale "Chris" and Roxanne (Hicks) Finocchiaro. Andrew lived in Chittenango all his life, graduating from Chittenango High School in 1997. He later graduated from Onondaga County Community College in 1999, and Cazenovia College in 2001, with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Art and Design. He worked for Schwan's Home Delivery in Syracuse for several years. Andrew enjoyed painting, graphic design, and cars, volunteering at the Syracuse Nationals for many years. He, also, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are: his beloved girlfriend, Lauren Nodine of Wolcott; his mother, Roxanne Finocchiaro of Chittenango; one brother, Daniel R. Finocchiaro of Chittenango; one sister, Kristine Kinnison of Ohio; aunts and uncles, Robert and Kathy Hicks of Chittenango, and Jack and Fran Brenner of Oneida; as well as many cousins. Andrew was predeceased by his father, Chris Finocchiaro. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, at the funeral home. The Rev. Thomas G. Burgess, Pastor of Hope Christian Fellowship, Canastota, will officiate.
