VERONA . . .

Vance G. Morgan, 54, of 6439 Germany Road, Verona, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

He was born on April 2, 1969, in Rome, the son of the late John and Barbara (Miller) Morgan.

Vance lived in Canastota most of his life, attending the Canastota schools. He has lived in Verona for the last six years.

He has worked for Raymond Corporation in Syracuse for twenty-seven years.

Vance enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, snowmobiles, the North Country, and loved big rigs, watching racing at Watkins Glen, and spending time with his family.

He was a member of the New York State Snowmobile Association.

Vance married Debra L. Tuttle on December 1, 1990, in Canastota.

Surviving besides his wife, Debra, are: two sons, Zack Morgan and Jon Holt, both of Verona; two brothers, Vincent and Jill Morgan of Monticello, FL, and Victor Morgan of Hammond, NY; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as Debra's family. Vance was predeceased by his sister, Valerie Dye.

At Vance's request, private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the supervision of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota.
