CANASTOTA . . . Carol B. Robotham, 82, of 311 Roberts Street, Canastota, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Oneida Healthcare, due to complications following a recent surgery. She was born on March 4, 1941, in Canastota, a daughter of the late Salvatore "Sam" and Irene (Teller) Bonaventura. Carol has lived in Canastota all of her life, graduating from Canastota High School in 1957. She was a pharmacy clerk at area pharmacies for over 30 years, retiring in 2014. Carol enjoyed shopping, puzzle books, casinos, her many cats, and spending time with her family. She married George H. Robotham on May 27, 1959, in Canastota. They were blessed with over 62 years of marriage. George passed away on August 16, 2021. Surviving are: a daughter, Terri Robotham of Canastota; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Michelle (Tornatore) Robotham, and Steven Robotham, all of Canastota; five grandchildren: Shawn Pluff, Courtney, Kenneth, Jr., and Kyle Robotham, and Tayia Williamson; several great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Harold Bonaventura of Canastota, and Joseph and Leona Bonaventura of California; one sister, Helen Fabrizi of Canastota; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Carol was predeceased by one brother, Salvatore "Sam" Bonaventura; and two sisters, Betty Carroll, and Dorothy Pugliano. In keeping with Carol's wishes, all services will be held privately. Burial will be in Whitelaw Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. In her memory, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, or to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn. Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.

Final Resting Place
