Brenda L. Drummond Dillman, 61, of 5540 Nelson Road, Canastota, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Oneida Healthcare, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on November 9, 1962, in Oneida, the daughter of the late David and Patricia (Bliss) Drummond.
Brenda lived in the Canastota area all of her life, graduating from Canastota High School in 1981.
She worked at Nicola's Take Out Foods in Canastota, and at Oneida Limited in Sherrill.
Brenda enjoyed traveling, camping, her pets especially her Pugs, taking care of others, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are: one daughter and son-in-law, Annamarie and Steven Hatch of Canastota, and one son, Nicholas Setticase and his companion, Lisa Davis of Canastota; two grandsons, Steven Hatch, Jr., and Andrew Hatch; one brother, Wayne Drummond and his companion, Verna King of Munnsville; two sisters, Kathy Drummond of Canastota, and Mary Smith of Oneida; one aunt, Patricia Drummond of Clockville; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024, at the funeral home. The Rev. William M. Wilcox will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Canastota.
