Obituary of Sharon I. Wesolowski

Madison, NY - Sharon I. (Snyder) Wesolowski, 77, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 25,1947, in Syracuse NY, the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Harris) Snyder. Mrs. Wesolowski was raised and educated locally attending local schools. At one time she had been wed to Walter Wesolowski.
At one time Sharon worked on the muck and at the RNH Corporation, both in Canastota. She lastly held a position Consumer Services in Oneida. Her memberships include The Owl’s Nest in Oneida where she assisted as a cook. She loved to cook, crochet blankets, and bake; she was an avid collector of porcelain dolls and loved to fish. Sharon will be remembered as the person that was always available to help anyone in need at any time.
Sharon is survived by three daughters Jeanne Shmitt of CO, Yvonne Wakefield of Madison, and Teresa Wesolowski; a son Michael Wesolowski of Oneida; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernie Snyder of Munnsville, Robert Snyder of AL, Melvin and Lillian Taylor of Oneida, Milton and Laura Taylor of FL, Mark Taylor of Chittenango, and Leon and Marge Van Wie of Brownville, NY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. Her funeral service will follow calling hours at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the funeral home. The Rev. Leon VanWie will officiate. Burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota.
