Obituary of Eugene F. Graham

Canastota, NY….. Eugene F. Graham, 75, of Rome, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Betsy Ross Nursing Facility in Rome where he had been a resident. Born in Canastota, NY, on October 7, 1948, to the late Vernon L. and Arlene (Hyatt) Graham. He was raised and educated in Canastota, NY, where he attended Canastota High School. Mr. Graham held a position at Zophy Silver Platting where he worked as a Machine Operator. Eugene was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to hunt and fish with his brother Larry. He is survived by his children, Gina Graham, Christopher Graham, Tonia Graham, and Tara Graham; a brother, Lawrence K. Graham; sisters, Christine Zophy, Deanna L. Pratt and her husband Francis Pratt, and Debbie West; and an uncle, Willard Hyatt. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. In keeping with Eugene’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A grave side service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Lenox Rural Cemetery on Nelson Road in Canastota, NY.
