Ilion . . . William P. Woodcock, Jr., 68, of 46 West River Drive, Ilion, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 22, 2018, at his home. He was born on April 19, 1950, in Syracuse, a son of the late William, Sr. and Reta (McAllister) Woodcock. William spent his early years in Rome, later, living in Little Falls and Ilion. He enjoyed country music, and watching baseball and football. Surviving are: five brothers and sisters-in-law, Clifford and Flora Woodcock of Oneida, Charles and Pat Woodcock of Vernon, Rick and Deb Woodcock of Manheim, PA, Randy and Lori Woodcock of Canastota, and Joe and Cindy Woodcock of Sherburne; one sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Tim Lazarski of LaFayette; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Brad Markowski of New Beginnings Community Church, Wampsville, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Chittenango. In his memory, contributions may be made to Upstate Cerebral Palsy, 1030 Mary Street, Utica, NY 13501, with envelopes available at the funeral home. J. HOMER BALL FUNERAL HOME, INC.
