WAMPSVILLE . . .
Elaine S. Williams, 89, of Wampsville, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Abraham House, Rome, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on November 8, 1934, in Stamford, NY, the daughter of Harry and Hilda (Osborne) Sharp.
Elaine spent her early years in Clockville, graduating from Canastota High School in 1952. She has lived in Wampsville most of her life
She worked for Ankom in Fairport, NY for twenty years, retiring in 1993.
Elaine married Raymond W. Williams on July 31, 1960, in Clockville.
Surviving besides her husband, Raymond, are: one daughter, Billie and Ken Keller of Jefferson City, TN; one son-in-law, Andrew Komarek of Fairport; five grandchildren, Michael and Alyssa Komarek, Kelsey and Joshua Stafford, Ryan and Vanessa Komarek, McKenzie Komarek, and Amy and Matthew Hatton; four great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. Elaine was predeceased by two sons, Randall Ross Williams, and Eric Raymond Williams; and two daughters, Brenda Komarek, and Belinda Eileen Williams.
At Elaine's request there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota. Arrangements are under the supervision of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota.
