I had the pleasure of working with Charlie for many years. We spoke most days. Charlie was not just someone that I worked with but a colleague that became a dear friend. I adored his sense of humour and can still hear his laughter. He was also a very caring soul. I will always cherish my memories of him.
My deepest sympathies during this time and keeping Charlie’s family and friends in my prayers.

Charlie was my first boss at Entec, and one of the first friends I ever met working for Ravago. I'll never forget the hours upon hours he'd take showing me around, helping me learn the job and who I needed to know. As well as the endless stories about past adventures, family, friends, crazy things he'd seen and done. Once I got to know his family I could also tell where his attention was most days. If there was an event coming up for his kids he was always ready to brag about them (in all the best ways). He never wanted to miss a moment of them growing up, and knew how to make the memories last.
Charlie always looked like he was ready to either cry or laugh - he wore those emotions openly and brought people into the joy of spending that time together. Whether it was a 5 minute passing conversation or a 5 hour dinner, he had an energy about him that made you realize how much he wanted to do. He wanted to be everywhere and experience everything, and I hope that he was able to try it all at least once...because I know that few people would have appreciated it more than Charlie could have.
I'm going to miss him dearly, but I'll carry his stories forever and won't miss a chance to tell anyone around me how much of an impact he made on my life.

Charlie was a beloved friend and coworker to all of us at Entec. He was a really bright and funny human being to work with .Charlie had a great education as valedictorian of his high school and a graduate of a rigorous academic institution as Lowell instititute.Entec has been blessed with many bright managers from that great school. He divorced his life tk his children and was so very proud of all their achievements.Scripture spoke of great individuals as Charlie in 1 Timothy 4:7”He fought the good fight; he finished the race and he did it with faith and courage”He inspired all of us with his fastidious penchant for analysis with reckless , impatient ,transaction seeking sales reps .
Always calm and rational to our profit seeking urgent ways while not getting testy.
He had great integrity and intimated to me that one of my reprobate customers sought a full credit for “so called” bad material; only to inform me they tracked down the supplier to re-purchase at a fire sale price. He was a dirty bird Paul.Yes Charlie and a different cat as well.
A great poet once wrote a poem: I think continually of those who were truly great:
“Born of the sun: they traveled a short while towards the sun and left the vivid air signed with their honor”
Thank you Charlie for the example of an examined and purposeful life of love and duty and service .

For Charlie’s children,
I’m deeply saddened by the sudden loss of your beloved father and my friend Charlie. The emptiness and pain felt by the loss of a dad is never easy and is one I’m also familiar with. You will remember it’s affects forever, but eventually, the lifetime of memories that you shared with your father will take precedence over anything else. I hope you take comfort in knowing that even though, he’s not with you in the physical form, he will always be with you. If you ever find yourselves in need of fatherly guidance, may I suggest reading The Book of Sirach also known as Ecclesiasticus. Written by a father to his son, it is a collection of wisdom filled teachings concerning various topics of life and applicable to all. I send to you my condolences and prayers for strength.

I worked with Charlie in Dallas as his mentor as a TDE when he first came into the field. We shared stories about riding 3 wheelers back then as I had 2 I used for hunting with my boys. He had a love for them and motorcycles. He learned fast and loved his work. Soon after that he left GE for a bigger better job. We kept in touch over the years but not as much as we should have. I could see from his FB posts that his children were his life and that he loved them very much. May he rest in peace .
