CHITTENANGO . . . Colleen R. Hall, 74, of Leta Street, Chittenango, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, following a brief illness. She was born on June 15, 1950, in Canastota, the daughter of the late Earl and Winoa (Briggs) Hall. Winoa was a long-term ARC past board member, for whom the Winoa Hall Activity Center is named. Colleen lived in the Canastota area most of her life, attending the Canastota schools. She has lived in Chittenango for the last three years. She worked at Thermold Plastics in Canastota for 35 years, retiring in 2006. Colleen enjoyed square dancing, attending choir, embroidery, her cats, kids, doing puzzles, attending her ARC Senior Day Hab program, and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed cooking and helping in the kitchen. Surviving are: one brother, Ricky Hall of Canastota; nieces and nephews, Christopher Hall of Canastota, Shelby and John LaLonde of Canastota, and Erick Hall of Oneida; a great niece and nephew, Kali Menikheim, and Ethan Hall; as well as several cousins including Denise MacDowell and Suzette Rose. Colleen was predeceased by a sister, Wendy Fetterman. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. There will be no funeral service. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Canastota. In her memory, contributions may be made to The Arc Madison Cortland, 701 Lenox Avenue, Oneida, NY 13421, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
