CANASTOTA . . .

Patricia M. "Pattie" Bryson, 74, of 122 Center Street, Canastota, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Oneida Healthcare, following a brief illness.

She was born on November 24, 1943, in Oneida, the daughter of the late Milton and Marion (Chaires) Fox.

Pattie was a lifelong resident of Canastota, attending the Canastota schools.

She worked for RNH, which later became Thermold Plastics, in Canastota, for 30 years, retiring in 2006.

Pattie was an avid reader, and enjoyed painting, crocheting, music, and spending time with her family.

She married Stewart J. "Stew" Bryson on November 10, 1962, in Canastota. Stew passed away on July 30, 2017.

Surviving are: one son and daughter-in-law, James and Sharon Bryson of Canastota; two daughters and a son-in-law, Terri and Andy Ali, and Sharri Bryson, all of Canastota; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sharon Fox of Clockville; one brother-in-law, Robert Hollenbeck of Clockville; six grandchildren, Christopher and Vanessa Bryson, Tricia Ali, Ryan Bryson, Kyle Ali, Meagan Ali, and Serenity Ali; two great grandchildren, Aidan Bryson, and Bryson Jones; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including a special niece, Jenny Russell; and her beloved pets, Tiny and Charleigh. Pattie was predeceased by one sister, Rose Hollenbeck.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2018, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. The Rev. Thomas G. Burgess, Pastor of Hope Christian Fellowship, Canastota, will officiate. Burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota. Calling hours will be held on Friday, prior to the service, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. In her memory, contributions may be made to the Greater Lenox Ambulance Service (GLAS), PO Box 382, Canastota, NY 13032, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
